Cork to Clogheen, Tipperary, Bus Times
The recent decision that buses passing through Clogheen would cease has, thankfully, been reversed. Local councillor Marie Murphy has welcomed news that that the Bus service through Ardfinnan, Clogheen and Ballyporeen is now secure after almost one year of uncertainty. There has been strong public concern locally about the likely impact of any reduced services in the area. In fact, the service has been enhanced.
As of July 2015 the following is the time-table:
The 245 Bus will stop in Clogheen on the way to Cork at
Monday to Friday – 7.50, 10,50, 14.50, 16.50 and 19.20
Saturday – 10.50, 13.50 and 16.50.
Sunday – 9.20, 17.20 and 20.20.
Returning to Clogheen from Cork and on to Clonmel (these are arrival times in Clogheen, not departure times from Cork).
Monday to Friday – 9.00, 12.00, 15.00, 18.00 and 20.00
Saturday – 12.00, 15.00 and 18.00.
Sunday – 18.30 and 23.30.

The bus stops outside Corbett’s Hardware Store in the centre of Main Street in Clogheen.
