Death of John Carey, Shanrahan
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of John Carey, Heathfield, Shanrahan, Clogheen who passed away peacefully in St. Theresa’s Hospital last week. John was in his 98th year and enjoyed excellent health up to recently. A member of an old and well known farming family, John had a great interest in the G.A.A. and was a regular visitor to games through the years.
John is survived by his nephews Dr Frank O’Connor, James and Billy Divine as well as an extended family. His remains were removed from his home on Friday to Clogheen church and on Saturday following requiem mass he was laid to rest in Shanrahan Cemetery. May his soul rest in peace.

Rosary at his residence on Thursday May 7th 2015 at 9pm. Reposing at his residence on Friday. Removal at 8pm to St Mary’s Church, Clogheen. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am, with burial afterwards in Shanrahan Cemetery.
