Although off the beaten track, Clogheen isn’t that difficult to find as it is quite close to the M8 Motorway at Cahir.

If you are looking for the Catholic Church, for weddings, funerals, baptisims, communions, confirmations, etc. then you’ll find it at the following location: YZT-86-Z36

If you don’t have access to a device that can accept a Loc8 Code then the following information and maps may be helpful:

The town of Clogheen is located on the R665 road, just past it’s junction with the R668 from Cahir. It is just 15 minutes (10 kilometres) from Cahir on the Cappoquin road. Cahir is located conveniently at exit 10 on the M8 Motorway. On leaving the motorway you will enter onto the Cahir bypass via a roundabout (there may be more than one depending which direction you are travelling). There are three exits for Cahir on the bypass, the second one being a roundabout. Drive to the third exit, turn left and then take the first right. This road takes you all the way to Clogheen.

Coming from Clonmel the town is 20 minutes away just after Ardfinnan (take the Dungarvan road but don’t turn off for Dungarvan). It is also 20 minutes from Mitchelstown just after Ballyporeen and only 25 minutes over the Knockmealdown Mountains from both Lismore and Cappoquin.
