Night at the Dogs – Noel O’Callaghan Fundraiser – Friday May 9th
Family and Friends of Noel O’Callaghan Ballyporeen have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity and support while organising a ‘Night at the Dog’s fundraising evening being held on Friday May 9th. The evening is being organised to raise money for customised transport for Noel, who suffered a stroke two years ago.
To facilitate those who wish to travel to Curraheen Greyhound Track in Cork City, the committee has set up bus contacts for the various areas. Anyone wishing to travel is asked to contact Ger Flynn, Clogheen ; John O’Gorman, Ballylooby or Dickie Maher, Burncourt .
The first race starts at 7.40pm sharp. Tickets cost €10 which entitles the purchaser to entry, race card and inclusion in a special raffle. Prizes include All Ireland Tickets, two night breaks, overnight stays in Dublin and much more. Anyone under 12 will have free entry but must leave by 11pm according to track management rules.
